Back to the future

Science, your job is making tomorrow happen – and making it look and feel futuristic.

But, increasingly, you seem to think your job is doom-mongering.  This morning I woke to learn – courtesy of some Science people at Harvard – that just 2 slices of bacon a day can increase your chance of dying from heart disease or cancer by 20%.

Instead of spooking us with problems, Science should be coming up with solutions.  Here are some images to remind you of what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

    I thought I’d be living on a space colony by now. Talk about cheated. Fewer hours whinging about how ghastly the world is, more creating shiny new cities in space so we can get away from it!
